Technology and its mixed-use with known elements of the visual arts are redefining art in singular, new ways. Works are created by people moving through creations inspired by data and references gathered from technology and its intensive applied use in contemporary life like never before.

Over the past decades, art, science and technology have become more intertwined than ever before, whether it is through providing new ways to mix different types of media, allowing more human interaction or merely making the process of creating new approaches to the traditional means of the visual arts.  

Despite the intimidating ages of these mediums, and the massive family tree of artists that have come before them, contemporary painters, sculptors and creative continue to push the limits of their practices.  

Mike Braun is an artist who challenges and experiments in one of his latest research and developments. He merges essential art forms such as drawing and sculpture with the trends and innovations of today, mixing technology and craftsmanship in unique ways, creating an environment that recreates technological experiences used to represent urban spaces. Braun is to offers audiences a sample idea emanating from America's current contemporary art practice, with its mutations, consumption, and subversions.
